Our name may have changed but the program remains the same. After four successful years as FocusMaine Intern Experience we wanted to recognize the scope of the participants and employers we work with and be clear about our purpose: To support students navigating their careers in our state and support exploration of Maine employers. By dropping Intern from our name, we are able to better represent the interns, co-ops, and apprentices who are all working in experiential positions across our state. We believe this name change will better reflect the goals of the program as well as welcome all experiential learners to our program.
